About

I am a multidisciplinary artist whose work ranges from painting, assemblage to installation and screenprint.

I create richly layered, colorful compositions that convey a sense of narrative, and emerge after a long process of arrangement.

I have an ongoing preoccupation with the properties of painting, and exploring paint on canvas beyond the confines of a rectangular frame. My recent work explores an interplay between unconventional outline and dense layers of paint. I’m interested in how these components interact and also break down.

The artists that most inspire my practice are Manzoni, Rauschenberg and textile artists like Caroline Achaintre.

Originally from Northern Ireland, I have lived in Portland for 7 years, and am a mother of two.
